Creation Season at St. Columba’s

It’s Creation season. This Autumn we’re celebrating “Holy Ground”- after all, we are the church on a volcano!

We start with All-age Communion on Sept 3rd ( plan your route carefully because its the start of the round-Britain cycle race that morning).

We’ll be looking at Geology and Faith on the 10th (with Geology Rocks! for the children), Land Justice on the 17th , and Renew the Earth on the 24th (when children will be renewing ¬†our garden)

Students and families are especially welcome at this time. look for the big blue door next to The Castle Rock Hostel.

We are joining in the great local tradition called Doors Open Day on September 23rd and 24th.

This is when Edinburgh residents pop in and see local buildings they often walk or ride past.

The Church will be open on Saturday 10.30 am – 3.30 pm and Sunday 1.30 – 3.30 pm. We’ve got a distinct musical tradition at St Columba’s and will offer live music on the hour.
